Guild Level & Progression System

Unite to Gather, Hunt, and Grow Together!

Our custom-built Guild progression system encourages cooperative play. Guilds start at Level 0 and can level up to Level 3 by completing specific ore gathering and monster hunting (Guild XP) requirements. Both criteria must be met level-by-level to advance.

Level 1 (10,000 Iron Ore & 50,000 Guild XP) All guild members receive a personalized Gold Guild Cloak in their backpack (or bank box if full/offline).
Level 2 (10,000 Gold Ore & 150,000 Guild XP) Guild members gain a permanent +5% faster crafting & gathering skill gain chance boost.
Level 3 (25,000 Valorite Ore & 400,000 Guild XP) Guild members gain a permanent +20% Gold Drop rate from all monsters, and receive a dyeable Guild Crest Cloak.
How to Contribute Donate raw ores via the Guild Lvl tab in the guild menu. Earn Guild XP by killing monsters (XP is calculated as HitsMax / 10).

Advanced Animal Taming & Breeding

Tame, Bond, and Breed Elite Mounts for Battle

Taming is a major feature on New Hope. Tame dangerous predators and loyal mounts in the wild, bond with them, and train them side-by-side in battle. Experienced tamers can craft breeding pens, feed their pets daily, and breed horses, ostards, or llamas to inherit stats and unlock ultra-rare color mutations.

Genetic & Stat Inheritance Offspring inherit hue ranges (60% mother, 40% father) with a 2% flat chance for ultra-rare hues. Offspring stats can roll "Very Strong" tiers up to 30% of your character's power!
Breeding Pens & Carpentry Craft a Breeding Pen using a level 100 Carpentry recipe (15 logs and 10 rare Barbed Leather). Lock it down in your house to activate the custom breeding Gump interface.
Daily Feeding & Taming Requirements Requires 95.0 Animal Taming & Veterinary skills to begin. Mounts consume 70% feed daily; keep them fed and watered to ensure growth progress. Only Level 3 bonded mounts can breed!

Joining the world of New Hope is simple. Choose one of the download options below to start your adventure.

Attention to Players Experiencing Map / UNUSED Errors!

If you are seeing black squares (UNUSED) on the ground in-game, or if old trees are still visible on the Newbie Island, please re-download the 1. New Hope Launcher (Connector) file below. Copying the newly downloaded file over the old launcher and running it will automatically clean the faulty files and fix your map.

Only 1.8 MB! Download and run the launcher. It will automatically download missing game files, install map updates, and start the game. Players with an existing ClassicUO setup can also select their folder to connect.

Antivirus / Windows SmartScreen Warning (False Positive)

Because our game launcher is a custom-compiled application and does not have a costly digital signature, some web browsers and antivirus software (like Windows Defender) might flag it as a threat or block the download. This is a false positive. Our files are completely clean and safe.

  • For Browsers: If your browser blocks the download, select "Keep" or "Keep Anyway".
  • For Windows SmartScreen: When launching the game, if Windows displays a warning, click on "More Info" and then select "Run Anyway".
  • For Antivirus deletion: We highly recommend creating a folder (e.g., C:\Games\NewHopeUO), extracting the game files there, and adding that folder to your antivirus Exclusions / Exceptions list.

IMPORTANT RULE: CHEAT & HACK POLICY

The use of cheats, hacks, speed hacks, or unauthorized illegal 3rd party programs within New Hope Shard is strictly prohibited. Accounts detected by our anti-cheat system or staff will be permanently BANNED. Keeping a fair environment for all players is our top priority.
